Assist™ has offered Medical Alert cards and custom
engraved Medical Alert jewelry since 1980. Medic
Assist™ was established when the founder’s niece
was diagnosed with Diabetes at the age of 10. At the time, all that was
found after an exhaustive search was a Medical ID bracelet stamped with
“DIABETIC” at a local drug store for under $5.00.
The young lady was embarrassed to wear it, so in fact, she
didn’t.
